The organizers recommend that participants fly in and out of the Jackson Hole Airport. If you prefer to fly into a larger airport, it is also possible to fly to Salt Lake City, but it's a long drive (4.5 hours), which can be even longer if there is snow. You should plan to arrive no later than the morning of the 25th and leave no earlier than the morning of the 28th.

Depending on where you stay and what you want to do during the workshop, you may wish to rent a car. It is easy to get from the airport to town (and back) via taxi or shuttle, and there is a good bus system that connects the town of Jackson to the ski resort. But if you want to drive into Teton or Yellowstone National Parks, you will need your own car.

There are a number of different lodging options in Jackson, which range dramatically in price. Some specific places that we recommend looking into that are in or very close to Jackson:
